Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Jeweler born in the past three hundred years. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and wants to open a new tavern

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Iados was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Iados's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Iados fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and expand his business

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Fargrim was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has money and likes to spend it
