He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to drow.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
