He found a children's book about a Dragonborn Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Emma never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
