History: Andraste was raised in a hard working conservative environment. After coming to the age of reason, Andraste took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was born into a rich family. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When Robert reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tenena grew up listening to her mother's many stories. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Tenena alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and regain custody of her daughter

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born in a small island village. Rezena liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
