History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born in the south. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

She wears various colorful collared shirts. Her long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her amber eyes.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Malquis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Malquis was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Malquis's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Malquis and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
