History: Ortegar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Courier they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Fletcher, and he later adopted a second daughter.

She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. During her travels, Manea and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Manea discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Manea fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
