History: Born in the west to a Painter, Malquis learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Marigold was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 8 years.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. A friendly and beautiful Half-Elf, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the north were limited. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
