His father taught him the rudiments of the Carpenter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Through the years after Nissa was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nissa's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Gale has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Ploughman. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Jo was born on a far western plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Ploughman. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
