Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Gargax was born the youngest of three triplets. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Bhevek lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He became a Map Maker soon after.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born in the east to a Bather, Eiravel learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Sorath fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
