History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and she is greedy

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ivellios was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and someone believes him a fraud
