Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears a simple white robe with pastel stripes complete with hood, marred by sweets. With bright blonde hair and a scraggly beard. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
