History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. After coming to the age of reason, Kerkad took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bellfounder for the past few years.

History: Nija was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and balancing his hectic life and new dyer responsibilities is difficult
