History: Justin hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Carlin lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Courier job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
