Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his top white hat.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: Shifting is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is an amazing painter.

History: Gifted from a young age, Shifting studied abroad. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a worn and beaten armor. His yellow fur is smooth and relatively long. This yellow eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
