History: Born to a Shoemaker, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Butcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: Born in the east to a Cartwright, Oriel learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult.

Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
