History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. Personality: Gunter hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his green robe. His purple hair is knotted and matted. His black unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A freak accident while working with his Interpreter father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and wants to work out more often

Description: This southern woman is abnormally tall. She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. She wears her black hair up. She has black eyes and a green hat with a pastel feather.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Pyra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: He is wearing a long, blue cloak. He carries a battered sai and tarnished crossbow as well. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His eyes are likewise hazel.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family.
