History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bethrynna was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Hrathy was born the youngest of three triplets. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Stylist they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Painter, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Painter and was forced into it by her family; and wants to raise her children well

History: Gifted from a young age, Merihim studied abroad. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
