History: Ranala hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying east to reunite her family. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Sellsword who has hired her part-time. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Chaedi was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Chaedi decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
