Personality: Hlin wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Hlin is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her first spouse was a Farmer, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She tends to her Interpreter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born in the east. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

History: Broce was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has worked as a Tanner like his mother before him.
