Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Tanglar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Doctor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mortician, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he feels kind of lost in life

Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she has a crush on the local apothecary

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. She's also a talented Gardener, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
