History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Paggen isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Paggen grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the east to a Seamstress, Quick learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Roofer. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 2 years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and his religion dominates his actions
