History: Braak lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Unemployed.

History: The child of a Detective, who enjoyed hunting, Gormogord was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Gormogord alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Eida was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Personality: Aelar is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.
