He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bricklayer for the past few years.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Carter arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Oriff was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Carter. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
