History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her blue robe. She has wavy cinnamon fur. Her eyes are green and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Gifted from a young age, Emerald studied abroad. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and to clean up the streets

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She is wearing a long, grey, dusty cloak. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. A true patriot, Herleva would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Gardain was born the youngest of three triplets. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
