History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He got into the Engraver business at a young age. A freak accident while working with his Junk Dealer mother left him crippled. He's also a talented Junk Dealer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and money/treasure

Personality: Rosamund wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
