Shautha grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shautha. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was born into a rich family. Bree abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are a pleasant brown.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born in the north. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed spear, just in case, and her gloved hand is found clutching a spear. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her ears are large.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and an old rival family wants her found
