History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He worked as a nervous Dilettante and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Healer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Shamash alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
