History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Aldous isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Elven unity. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Spice Merchant profession.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aldous grew up listening to his father's many stories. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bather. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Cook again; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His fur is cut close to his head. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
