She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Gardener they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Merchant, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Roger was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Roger's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of a Brewer, who enjoyed hunting, Shifting was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Three was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
