History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Nogu was taken on many hunting expeditions. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Smoking was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Kelter lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a architect and was forced into it by his family
