History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His red hair is heavily combed to the right. His eyes are brown and catlike.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Laucian was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Melissa was born the youngest of three triplets. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Armorer for the past few years.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.
