History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Born to a Slave Trader, her father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Furrele lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
