History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Elegant alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.
