Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vonbin embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. A true patriot, Vonbin would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Vonbin was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Vonbin decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has achieved small success as a Bowyer.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she is wearing a tight black one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape, and is pretty ugly. She keeps her long rusty crest kept up in a rat tail. Her eyes are likewise gold. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: Takra is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born in the west. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's in love
