History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Valida was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Valida and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Quarion wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Warrior, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Quarion abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Mercenary. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). During his travels, Zedaar and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Zedaar discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Zedaar fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: The child of a Priest, who enjoyed hunting, Isabella was taken on many hunting expeditions. Through the years after Isabella was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Isabella's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Semyaza was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Tiefling Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
