History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Mindartis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cook for the past few years.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Ishte speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ishte grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she's looking for her big break

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Bounty Hunter arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bounty Hunter. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Adrex was born the youngest of three triplets. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he's looking for his big break
