History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Mastema was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Mastema's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Mastema and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
