Personality: Jarana hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jarana grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Lucan enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Lucan was born the youngest of three triplets. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Bookbinder kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
