History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Portia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Portia abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Outside of the suit he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His white hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. A friendly and beautiful Elf, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Description: An older man who wears an entirely blue suit with white socks and a vest with buckled shoes, he is not a threatening figure. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. His brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Dagger has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion
