History: Hupe was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He found a children's book about a Halfling Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

History: Driindar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Driindar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and she wants revenge against gnolls

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
