History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Faran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her first spouse was a Bowyer, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and she is greedy
