History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. She worked as a nervous Spice Merchant and found it very stressful. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
