History: Emmeline hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in the east to a Spice Merchant, Uzza learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She became a Spice Merchant soon after.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His bronze crest is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines red.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
