History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bounty Hunter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. History: Paelias hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: She is fixated on the number 60. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Darrow hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and to find somewhere to settle down
