Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized yellow coat. His blonde hair has been sun bleached extensively. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. Her first spouse was a Miller, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
