History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bowyer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Dalgal was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sculptor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He is content; and to end his boredom
