History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Oriff was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Oriff's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Born to a Shoemaker, her mother struggled to pay the bills. A gifted student she started as a Shoemaker, but she got bored and became a Doctor. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
