History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Pyra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
