History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Nelkin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nelkin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born in the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the east were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and retire the richest woman in the east

History: Hirrathak was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ploughman they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Barrister, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Ortegar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
