History: Elegant lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. After coming to the age of reason, Roland took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.
